The Baby Bird Healing

Abeautiful baby great tit flew into a window of our house and hit the stone patio with a thud. My heart went out to this tiny creature that was lying, unmoving with a broken leg sticking out at an awkward angle. I gently put my hand over it and was just able to discern a faint heartbeat in its cold body. Its eyes were closed and I immediately thought of giving it Reiki. I said a prayer and took it in my hands. It did not struggle. It did not move. It was barely alive…I thought if it dies, at least it will go with Reiki and be peaceful and have no pain. I hoped however, that it would survive. I gave it 50 minutes of Reiki and put a drop of Bach Rescue Remedy on its head and gently stroked it in. I put some Young Living Trauma Life oil on my wrist and hoped the aroma would also help. Suddenly, I felt the bird warming up, the tiny body coming back to life. The eyes opened intermittently and it attempted to move. I placed the little creature near some shrubs for protection and when next I checked on it, its eyes were sparkling black and fully alert and it hopped away out of my reach. I like to believe that "Little Blue" found his way home again.
