Reiki For Backache

About a week after I had learnt Reiki, my husband put out his back and was in absolute agony. It was a Saturday morning and he asked me to phone the osteopath and get an emergency appointment immediately.

I asked my husband if I could try to help him with Reiki. He very seriously said that it was no joke and that he was in great pain and that there was no time for experiments. I literally pleaded with him to allow me to give him Reiki. I said I have not learned it for nothing, and please would he let me try. I said if the Reiki did not work, I promise I would personally drive him to the osteopath on Monday.

He relented and allowed me to give him Reiki. After the treatment his pain was greatly reduced. On Sunday I gave him more Reiki for some lingering sensitivity and by Monday he was completely healed. Reiki had outdone the osteopath of a patient! This was my very first experience of helping someone heal with Reiki.
